About Sint Nyk
Golfpark Sint Nyk in Sint Nicolaasga, Friesland, is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course among meadows and woodland edges, designed by Alan Rijks and Paul Rolin.
Golfpark Sint Nyk is made up of two nine-hole loops, the Yellow loop and the Red loop, each with a par of 36. You can play either loop on its own or combine them into a full 18-hole round. From the white tees the Yellow loop measures 2,999 metres and the Red loop 3,039 metres.
The landscape at Sint Nyk is typically Frisian: open stretches alternate with lines of trees, water hazards and doglegs that turn unexpectedly. The course lies on the Legemeersterweg in Legemeer, on the edge of Sint Nicolaasga.
Sint Nyk has ten par 4s, four par 3s and four par 5s. Golfpark Sint Nyk measures 6,038 metres from the white tees and 4,147 metres from the orange tees. Men playing from the white tees face a course rating of 72.7 and a slope of 132; from the yellow tees it is 71.2 and 129. For women, the course rating from the red tees is 72.2 with a slope of 128.
The hardest hole at Sint Nyk on the stroke index is the 4th, a 389-metre par 4 from the white tees. The 18th is the longest hole, a par 5 of 540 metres from the whites, while the 10th is the shortest, a 131-metre par 3.
Since 1 September 2024 the Hollandsche Golfclub has managed Golfpark Sint Nyk, and shortly afterwards it bought all shares in BurgGolf, the previous owner. Members of the Hollandsche Golfclub can play all of the club's parks on a single membership.
Visitors are welcome at Sint Nyk: green fee players need a handicap of 54 or better, and tee times can be booked online.
