Gooise Golfclub is on 't Jagerspaadje in Loosdrecht, a village in the municipality of Wijdemeren, west of Hilversum. This golf course in Loosdrecht is partly laid out on hockey fields, and holes 4 to 8 are across the road. The clubhouse stands to the left of the 9th green.

Gooise Golfclub grew out of Golfclub Gooisch Golf Centrum (GGGC). After Golfclub Het Jagerspaadje moved away in 1988, Paul Verschoof, owner of the Gooisch Golfcentrum golf shop in Bussum, used the course on the fields of hockey club HMHC to introduce newcomers to golf. To protect the hockey grass, golfers could not simply tee off from it, so everyone carried a piece of floor mat on their bag. In 1991 the OSO Golfclub, formed by broadcasting staff, merged into GGGC, and in 1993 Gooise Golfclub became the club's official name.

For 18 holes at Gooise Golfclub, the men's course rating from the yellow tees is 50.6 with a slope of 78. Women playing from the red tees have a course rating of 52.4 and a slope of 80. Over nine holes the course ratings are 25.3 for men and 26.2 for women, with the same slopes.

Gooise Golfclub is open only to members and the guests they introduce, so it is not a green fee course for visitors. Newcomers can start with a trial lesson or clinic from the golf club's professional and need course permission to play. Gooise Golfclub also has a driving range, a putting green and mobility scooters for golfers with a physical disability.
