Golfvereniging de Batouwe is based on the Oost Kanaalweg in Zoelen, just north of Tiel in the Betuwe river region, where it plays on the course of Golfcentrum de Batouwe. Golf architect Alan Rijks laid out De Batouwe in existing parkland with height differences of around 6 metres, working in old tree groups, fruit orchards, water features and gentle slopes.
Two holes on the Appelgaard loop at De Batouwe bring water into play. The 2nd is a 286-metre par 4 with a narrow fairway and water on both sides, and the 8th is a 138-metre par 3 with water in front of the green. Kersengaard starts with a 437-metre par 5, bends left on its 378-metre 4th and finishes with a blind tee shot on the 321-metre par-4 9th.
Over Kersengaard and Perengaard at De Batouwe, the men's course rating from the white tees is 71.3 with a slope of 132, and from the yellow tees 70.9 and 127. Women playing from the red tees have a course rating of 71.9 and a slope of 128.
Visitors can play the 27 holes at De Batouwe with at least a Dutch golf proficiency certificate (GVB) or handicap 54, and green fee players book a tee time online. Pruimengaard, a short nine-hole course of par 29 and 1,141 metres added in 2021, only requires a course permit.
