Golfclub Son sits on the Rooijseweg in Son en Breugel, a village just north of Eindhoven in the south of the Netherlands. The course is within walking and cycling distance of the village centre. Its holes share the sports fields of Sportpark De Gentiaan, which serve in turn as a golf course and as a practice area with a driving range.

Golfclub Son has existed since 1990. It is an independent club run by volunteers, who manage the course, the golf operations and the coaching themselves.
