About Golfclub Princenbosch
Golfclub Princenbosch in Molenschot, North Brabant, has 27 holes in three loops among woodland, heath and water, plus a floodlit par-3 course.
How did Princenbosch begin? As a farm. Kees and Helma Beenackers turned their pasture into rolling golf terrain with ponds, bunkers, greens and 13,000 newly planted trees. Golfclub Princenbosch was founded on 4 October 1991, and by 1994 the A and B loops were complete as an 18-hole, par-70 course designed by golf architect Alan Rijks. The C loop, nine holes at par 37, was added later.
Golfclub Princenbosch lies on the Bavelseweg in Molenschot, about 12 kilometres south-east of Breda. Its three nine-hole loops, A, B and C, can be combined into different 18-hole rounds.
Woodland, heathland and water hazards alternate across the Princenbosch loops. The ANWB calls Princenbosch a test of how straight you can hit the ball, and in summer the rough at Princenbosch grows tall enough to make stray balls hard to find.
Alongside its 27 holes, Golfclub Princenbosch opened a nine-hole par-3 course in 2020, lit with LED floodlights so it can be played after dark.
Visitors are welcome at Golfclub Princenbosch as green fee players, provided they are registered with the Dutch golf federation (NGF) or a foreign federation and have a handicap of 54 or lower. Guest tee times are in the afternoon and can be requested online up to four weeks ahead.
