Golfclub Noordeloos Maria Johanna Hoeve

Golfbaan Noordeloos at the Maria Johanna Hoeve in Noordeloos, South Holland, is a nine-hole par-3 course with a par of 27 in the Alblasserwaard polder.

The Maria Johanna Hoeve, home of Golfbaan Noordeloos, was the Kool family's dairy farm for 75 years. When the milking stopped, the family turned the farm into group accommodation, and later added meeting rooms, a brasserie and the golf course. Golfbaan Noordeloos lies on the Nieuwendijk in Noordeloos, in the Alblasserwaard region.

Golfbaan Noordeloos opened on 22 March 2014. The Kool family had it built on open, typically Dutch polder land, with fruit trees planted as a nod to the region. The greens are generous, each covering more than 150 square metres.

All nine holes at Golfbaan Noordeloos are par 3s, adding up to par 27 over 708 metres. They range from 44 metres at the 2nd to 116 metres at the 3rd, which is also stroke index 1. Going round twice makes an 18-hole round of par 54 and 1,416 metres. Over 18 holes, the men's course rating from the yellow tees is 46.8 with a slope of 61; for women, the rating from the red tees is 48.4 with a slope of 63. The course is qualifying, so your scores count towards your handicap.

Can visitors play Golfbaan Noordeloos? Yes. The minimum requirement for the nine holes is the NGF course permit (golfbaanpermissie). Golfers without one can play through one of the club's golf packages. Guests book a tee time and green fee through Golf.nl or by phoning the club, while members of Golfclub Noordeloos use the Nexxchange app.

Besides the course, Golfbaan Noordeloos has a public driving range of up to 150 metres, a chipping green with a bunker and a putting green, and a PGA professional teaches there, beginners included.
