About Golfclub Kagerzoom

Golfclub Kagerzoom in Warmond, South Holland, is a nine-hole polder course beside the Kagerplassen lakes, par 70 over 18 holes, designed by Gerard Jol.

Golfclub Kagerzoom was founded in June 1989. Lex Maier took the initiative to build the course, which Gerard Jol designed, and Kagerzoom officially opened on 17 April 1994.

Kagerzoom lies on the Veerpolder in Warmond, just north of Leiden, right beside the Kagerplassen lakes in the Green Heart of the Randstad. Golfclub Kagerzoom is a genuine polder course: water is in play almost everywhere and the wind can get a real grip on your game. Over the years the course has taken on a park-like character, with a very varied mix of plants and wildlife.

Every one of the nine holes at Kagerzoom has two tee positions, so the second time round plays genuinely differently from the first. Each nine can also be played on its own at par 35. Over 18 holes Kagerzoom has six par 3s, eight par 4s and four par 5s.

Golfclub Kagerzoom calls the 6th the most beautiful hole on its course. This par 4, 342 metres from the yellow tees, is a dogleg towards the Kaag lake, and you play towards the course's characteristic windmill.

Kagerzoom measures 5,740 metres over 18 holes from the white tees and 4,114 metres from the orange tees. From the white tees the men's course rating is 70.1 with a slope of 130; from the yellow tees it is 68.6 and 126. For women, the course rating from the red tees is 69.4 with a slope of 123.

Can visitors play Golfclub Kagerzoom? Yes, with a valid NGF handicap of 54 or lower, or with a course permit issued by Kagerzoom. Green fee players can book a tee time online.
