Golfbaan Bentwoud in Benthuizen, South Holland, is a 36-hole course in the Bentwoud nature area by Gerard Jol, with 18-hole rounds of par 70 or 71.

Can visitors play Golfbaan Bentwoud? Yes: the course runs on a pay-and-play basis and welcomes everyone. The three main loops require handicap 54 or a Dutch golf proficiency certificate (golfvaardigheidsbewijs), and green fee players book their tee time online.

Golfbaan Bentwoud lies on the Boslaan, east of the village of Benthuizen and the HSL-Zuid high-speed railway. It sits in the Bentwoud nature area, between Zoetermeer and Alphen aan den Rijn.

Gerard Jol of Jol Golf Design laid out Golfbaan Bentwoud. The construction permit came through in June 2009, the first holes opened in June 2011, and the course was completed when the Westwoud loop opened on 1 June 2012. Golfclub Bentwoud, the members' club that plays here, was founded on 26 July 2010.

The three main nines at Golfbaan Bentwoud are Oostwoud (A loop, par 35), Zuidwoud (B loop, par 36) and Westwoud (C loop, par 35). Any two can be combined into an 18-hole course suitable for official competitions, with bunkers and water placed strategically along the way. The fourth loop, Noordwoud, is a rated par-29 course of seven par 3s and two par 4s, measuring 1,346 metres from the yellow tees.

Zuidwoud-Westwoud is the longest combination at Golfbaan Bentwoud: par 71 and 6,088 metres from the white tees. From the white tees the men's course rating is 74.2 with a slope of 138; from the yellow tees it is 72.4 and 133. For women, the course rating from the red tees is 72.8 with a slope of 128. The shortest pairing, Westwoud-Oostwoud, is a par 70 of 5,699 metres from the white tees. The longest single hole is the 7th on Zuidwoud, a 505-metre par 5.
