Golfpark De Haverleij in 's-Hertogenbosch, North Brabant, is an open 18-hole, par-72 golf course with water hazards and dykes, designed by Donald Steel.
Golfpark De Haverleij lies on the Leunweg on the edge of 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch), among castles, meadows and water. The castles are modern residential ones, and several holes look out over them.
The 18 holes at Golfpark De Haverleij are made up of two nine-hole loops, yellow and red, each par 36 and each playable on its own. The yellow loop measures 2,972 metres from the white tees, the red loop 2,843 metres. Each nine has two par 3s, five par 4s and two par 5s, and wide fairways, water hazards and dykes give the layout an open, varied character.
Golfpark De Haverleij was designed by the British golf architect Donald Steel. Formerly known as BurgGolf Haverleij, the golf park now belongs to the Hollandsche Golfclub, which runs golf parks across the Netherlands.
Golfpark De Haverleij measures 5,815 metres from the white tees, 5,672 metres from the yellow tees and 4,490 metres from the orange tees. The 1st and the 18th are both par 5s. The longest hole is the 11th, a 495-metre par 5 from the white tees, while the 2nd, a 416-metre par 4 from the same tees, is stroke index 1.
From the white tees at De Haverleij, the men's course rating is 71.2 with a slope of 134; from the yellow tees it is 70.6 and 131. Women playing from the red tees have a course rating of 71.2 and a slope of 127.
Golfpark De Haverleij also has a nine-hole par-3 course, par 27. From the yellow tees its holes measure 60 to 113 metres, 782 metres in total. No golf experience, course permit or handicap is needed to play it.
Visitors are welcome at Golfpark De Haverleij on a green fee. The 18-hole course and the two loops require at least a course permit (baanpermissie), and tee times can be booked online through the Hollandsche Golfclub.
